Heal's limed oak occasional side / coffee table
The table: A limed oak circular occasional / coffee table with "Tilden" style gun barrel legs joined by cross stretchers attributed to Heal's c.1925 to c.1930. Very well made in solid quarter sawn oak. No label.

Arts & Crafts Cotswold School Rocking Chair
The rocker: An Arts & Crafts ash rocker in the "Clissett" style probably by Edward Gardiner c.1930. Hand crafted with pegged construction.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition. Simply cleaned and waxed maintaining the excellent patina. The seat has been re-rushed.

The bookshelves: A set of wall mounted oak bookshelves by Heal & Son c.1920. No label but these bookshelves are illustrated in the Heal's 1923 catalogue of kitchen furniture. Constructed in solid well figured quarter sawn oak.

Heal's Cotswold Style Limed Oak Bookcase Cabinet
The cabinet: A Cotswold Style limed oak bookcase over cabinet attributed to Heal's c.1935. No label. Well figured quarter sawn oak with exposed dovetails to the top of the bookcase. Single removable shelf to the interior. Working lock and key.

Condition: Offered in very good condition. Original finish cleaned and revived. Very slight expansion gaps to cabinet sides.

The chair: An American Arts & Crafts (Mission) armchair by Stickley Bros Co of Grand Rapids c.1910. Branded label. Excellent display of quarter sawn oak and exposed construction. This is a generous sized armchair. Leatherette drop in seat.

Heal's Arts & Crafts Limed Oak Single Bed
The bed: An Arts & Crafts limed oak single bed by Heal's c.1925. Labelled. Constructed in well figured solid quarter sawn oak with exposed dowels and through tenons. The bed comprises a headboard, footboard and a pair of side irons.

Condition: Shown prior to being refinished. The bed will offered in excellent refinished condition.

Cotswold School Gimson Rocker
The rocker: A Cotswold School oak rocker after a design by Gimson. The craftsman maker is unknown. This rocker has a slightly taller back, with an additional splat and an attractive arch to the back uprights, compared to the typical Gimson rocker design.

The chair: An Arts & Crafts oak "Letchworth" chair designed by Ambrose Heal (after Baillee Scott) c.1905 for the show Cottage at Letchworth Garden City furnished by Heal & Son.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition, cleaned & revived. The rush seat appears original and is a little worn albeit perfectly serviceable with no significant damage.

Set of 12 Arts & Crafts Oak Dining Chairs by Morris & Co
The chairs: A set of 12 Arts & Crafts oak dining chairs. The set comprises eleven side chairs and one up-scaled carver. All constructed in solid oak with upholstered drop-in seats. The design of these chairs is widely attributed to the offices of Richard Norman Shaw c.1876 for the Tabard Inn at Bedford park. These chairs were made by William Birch of High Wycombe and retailed by Morris & Co as the "Hampton Court" chair. (see V&A Museum collection)

Condition: Shown prior to restoration. Offered fully restored: frames tightened, refinished and seats re-upholstered in your fabric.
