Cotswold Style Oak Bookcase by Brynmawr Furniture
The bookcase: An Arts & Crafts "Gower" oak bookcase, designed by Paul Matt for Brynmawr Furniture dating circa 1930. The bookcase is divided into three compartments, each with two (fixed position but removable) shelves. Distinctive wedge shaped handles and bevelled fielded panels.

Condition. Offered in excellent condition.

Dimensions: The bookcase stands 46" tall, 52" wide and 11.5" deep.

Cotswold Style Oak Fitted Wardrobe by Brynmawr Furniture
The wardrobe: A Cotswold Style oak fitted wardrobe designed by Paul Matt for Brynmawr Furniture c.1930. Labelled. Constructed in ell figured quarter sawn oak. The wardrobe has distinctive bevelled panels to both the front and sides and square wedge shaped handles. Inside the wardrobe has shelving, a long flight of drawer slides and a hanging section.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: The wardrobe stands 68" tall, 44" wide and 21" deep (not including handles).

Heal's Oak "Letchworth" Refectory Dining Table
The table: An Arts & Crafts "Letchworth" 6' oak refectory dining table by Heal & Son circa 1905. No label.

Condition: Offered in good original firm and solid condition. Good character and patina, some expansion to top joints. The table will be cleaned and waxed ready for the home. We can offer this table fully restored and refinished, please contact us for details.

Cotswold Style Oak Sideboard by Bath Cabinet Makers
The sideboard: A Cotswold Style oak sideboard by Bath Cabinet Makers c.1930. Labelled. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak with proud octagonal front supports. The sideboard comprises two central drawers flanked by cupboards with original working locks with keys.

Bath Cabinet Makers were one of the better firms making furniture in the Arts & Crafts taste. They made and supplied furniture for Heal's.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Heal's Oak Sectional Bookcase
The Bookcase: An oak sectional bookcase by Heal's c.1930. No label but this bookcase is illustrated in numerous period Heal's catalogues. The bookcase comprises three sections: One deep base section and two shallower top sections. The later each with an adjustable shelf.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: The bookcase stands 69" tall, 34.5" wide and 11" deep (at the base).

The chairs: A pair of Modernist steam bent beech cantilever armchairs, design attributed to Marcel Breuer for P.E. Gane and probably retailed through Heal's c.1937.

The table: An oak Gordon Russell dining table with double octagonal column ends, chamfered sledge support feet connected by a low chamfered centre stretcher. This design dates c.1925. No label. Constructed in solid, well figured quarter sawn oak.
