Heal's Art Deco Fitted Compactum Wardrobe
The wardrobe: An Art Deco Walnut fitted compactum wardrobe by Heal's dating circa 1935. The wardrobe interior provides generous hanging space and fitted drawers, trays and shelves. Chromed handles and fittings. Labelled.

Condition: Shown prior to being refinished. This wardrobe is offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: The wardrobe stands 54" tall, 40" wide and 20.75" deep.

Cotswold Style Oak Dressing Table by Brynmawr Furniture
The dressing table: A Cotswold style oak dressing table designed by Paul Matt for Brynmawr Furniture c.1930 (Labelled). This piece is a superb example from the Brynmawr experiment. All sides, including the rear, have fielded panels which means this could be a used as a freestanding piece of furniture. We also have a matching stool - please enquire.

Condition: Shown prior to going to our polish workshop where it will be refinished.

The sideboard: An oak Cotswold Style sideboard by Heal's c.1930. Labelled. Two central drawers flanked either side by a cupboard - one with a single shelf. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak with facetted handles, all raised on chamfered supports joined by sledge feet and a pot board stretcher.

Heal's Cotswold Style Oak Sideboard
The sideboard: An oak Cotswold Style sideboard by Heal's c.1925. No label but we have original catalogue illustrations for this model. Two central drawers flanked either side by a cupboard, one with a single shelf and the other with an internal drawer. Contracted in well figured quarter sawn oak with chamfered detail and facetted handles.

Heal's Oak Desk Armchair
The chair: A very rare example of an iconic oak writing / desk armchair by Heal's c.1930. This chair has had an incredible life having originally been shipped to Northern Rhodesia c.1930 and later moving to South Africa via Southern Rhodesia, where its rush seat was replaced with a traditional "riempie" (strung) seat, before returning to the UK in the early 2000's.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition. No evidence of any significant damage or repair.

Dimensions: Width 25" (maximum at the arms), seat height 17", back height 32" & depth 18.5" (seat)

The wardrobe: A limed oak double wardrobe attributed to Heal's c.1930. No label. Superb quater sawn grain figuring, stepped panels and a facetted handle. Internally, there are two front to back hanging rails.

Condition: Offered in very good condition. Original finish cleaned & revived. Two points to note: there is a professional repair to the edge of one door next to the handle (more images available on request). and there is no lock present.

Dimensions: The wardrobe stands 68.5" tall, 42" wide and 21.5" deep.
