Heal's Oak Desk
The desk: An oak single pedestal desk by Heal's c.1930. Labelled.

Condition: Shown prior to restoration. This desk is to be offered refinished with a new leather top fitted.

Heal's Style Limed Oak Desk
The desk: A limed oak twin pedestal desk in the manner of Heal's c.1930. No makers label but this piece is very well made - constructed in solid, well figured quarter sawn oak with dovetailed drawers. This desk is finished at the rear which means it could be free standing.

Condition: Offered in very good mostly original condition - the top has been refinished with the remainder simply cleaned and waxed. All drawers run fine with clean interiors.

Dimensions: Width 42", Depth 22" & Height 30". The kneehole is 24.5" high and 17" wide.

Heal's Limed Oak Side Occasional Writing Table
The table: A limed oak side occasional writing table / desk by Heal's c.1930. Labeled. Beautifully constructed in quarter sawn oak with pegged joints and gun barrel turned legs.

Condition: Offered in very good condition.

Dimensions: Width 45", depth 20.25" & height 30". The knee hole has a height of 21.5" and a width of 16".

Heal's Limed Oak Cupboard
The Cupboard: A limed oak cupboard by Heal's c.1925. Labelled. Two doors reveal two fixed albeit removable shelves. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak throughout.

Condition: Offered in excellent original condition - simply cleaned and lightly waxed to maintain the naturally bleached out appearance.

Arts & Crafts Cotswold Style Oak Writing Table
The desk: An Arts & Crafts Cotswold Style oak writing, possibly by Bath Cabinet Makers, dating c.1925. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak. Three drawers with chip carved handles and frieze over chamfered supports joined together by a H stretcher.

Condition: Offered in very good refinished condition.

Dimensions: The table top stands 30.5" high, 41.5" wide and 20" deep.

Heal's Limed Oak Circular Dining / Breakfast Table
The table: An Arts & Crafts circular limed oak breakfast / dining table by Heal's. No label but this is a slightly larger model than that shown in the 1918 Heal's Cottage Furniture catalogue. Constructed in solid well figured quarter sawn oak.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition. The base has its original limed oak finish which has been simply cleaned and waxed. The top has been bleached out over time - we have cleaned this back and waxed it although there are still some minor marks but nothing to detract (please see the images).

Dimensions: The table top stands 30" high and 45" in diameter.

Heal's Limed Oak Fitted Compactum Wardrobe
The wardrobe: A smaller (Gentleman's or "Compactum") limed oak fitted wardrobe by Heal's c.1925. labelled. Ideal for spaces which require a shorter wardrobe. Octagon panels and facetted handles. The fitted interior comprises three drawers, two slide trays and an adjustable shelf.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition. Only condition point to note is a slight loss (chip) to one door edge (see images). We can offer this wardrobe fully restored - please contact us for details and prices.

Dimensions: The wardrobe stands 59" tall, 37" wide and 21.5" deep.

Modernist / Art Deco Cantilever Armchair by PE Gane
The chair: A Modernist / Art Deco cantilever and reclining armchair by P.E. Game c.1935. Solid beech frame with upholstered seat and back. Marcel Breuer worked as a design consultant to P.E. Game and his influence is clearly visible here.

Set of 4 Heal's "Tilden" Oak Dining Chairs
The chairs: A set of 4 oak dining chairs, a variant of the design by Philip Tilden & Ambrose Heal, made by Heal's c.1930 (Labelled). These chairs are virtually identical to those made by Heal's for the Jerusalem Chamber in Westminster Abbey. Each chair has the "Tilden" style gun barrel supports and superbly quarter sawn figured backs.

Condition: Shown prior to restoration. These chairs are offered refinished and reupholstered in your fabric or leather.
