Gordon Russell Oak Sideboard
The sideboard: A Modernist oak sideboard designed by Gordon Russell and retailed through Heal's circa 1940. A central bank of four drawers flanked by single shelved cabinets. Excellent quarter sawn figuring throughout.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: The sideboard stands 34" tall, 55.5" wide and 18.75" deep.

Arts & Crafts Cotswold School Oak Desk
The desk: An Arts & Crafts Cotswold School oak desk. Designed by Peter Waals and made by final year handicraft students under the direction of Edward Barnsley during the 1930s for Hazlerigg Hall (now part of Loughborough University). Single full width drawer over two smaller side drawers. Some exposed dovetails and through tennons. Facetted hexagonal handles.

Condition: Restored & refinished.

Dimensions: The desk top stands 30" high, 45.75" wide and 22.25" deep. The Kneehole is 24" high and 18" wide.

Cotswold School Oak Extending Dining Table by Gordon Russell
The table: A Cotswold School oak draw leaf extending dining table designed by Gordon Russell during the 1920's and made by his factory at Broadway. Metal label to the table base. The table has a distinctive angled edge and octagonal legs.

Condition: Shown in original condition. This table is to be offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: The table stands 30" tall, 33" wide and either 42" or 66" in length.

Set of 6 Heal's Russet Oak Dining Chairs
The chairs: A set of six Russet oak dining chairs by Heal's dating circa 1930's. The set comprises one carver and five armchairs. No labels but we have the original purchase receipt from Heal's. These chairs are shown in the Heal's catalogue of 1933.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition. Firm and solid in the frame with original drop-in rush seats. We can offer to re-finish the frames - please enquire for pricing.

Dimensions: Seat height 17.75" to 18.75", seat width 18.75", back height 35.5" (carver 37.5") and carver width 22.75".

Heal's Art deco Walnut Bureau Bookcase
The bureau: An Art Deco walnut bureau bookcase by Heal's dating c.1935 (labelled). A fall front with working lock and key reveals a fitted interior over a single drawer flanked by side facing bookcases.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: Width 30.75", height 42.5" and depth 14". The fall front writing surface is approx 19" wide by 13" deep. There is ample room to accommodate a laptop computer within the bureau with the fall front closed.
