Pair of Art Deco Club Armchairs
The chairs: A pair of Continental ebonised framed Art Deco club armchairs dating circa 1925. These chairs have been re-upholstered in an Osborne & Little fabric.

Condition: Offered in excellent condition.

Dimensions: Seat height 18", seat depth 23.5", seat width 22", overall width 26", overall depth 32" and back height 32".

Heal's Library "Book" Chair
The chair: A Heal's oak library "book" chair dating c.1930. The chair has a bookcase one side, a drop leaf table the other and a reclining back.

Condition: Offered in excellent condition. Frames refinished and cushions re-upholstered in a moss green woven check fabric. The seat cushion is the original sprung cushion and the back cushion is a new replacement.

Dimensions: Width 28.5" or 40.5" with the table up. Depth 32" upright to 45" fully reclined. Back height 28.5"

The chair: An Art Deco / Modernist lightly limed oak recliner easy armchair by Heal's c.1933. No label but this chair is illustrated in their 1933 catalogue as part of the weathered oak sitting room. The chair reclines by way of sliding seat and back with loose cushions.

Heal's Oak Desk Armchair
The chair: A very rare example of an iconic oak writing / desk armchair by Heal's c.1930. This chair has had an incredible life having originally been shipped to Northern Rhodesia c.1930 and later moving to South Africa via Southern Rhodesia, where its rush seat was replaced with a traditional "riempie" (strung) seat, before returning to the UK in the early 2000's.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition. No evidence of any significant damage or repair.

The chair: A Modernist / Art Deco cantilever and reclining armchair by P.E. Game c.1935. Solid beech frame with upholstered seat and back. Marcel Breuer worked as a design consultant to P.E. Game and his influence is clearly visible here.

Arts & Crafts Glasgow Style Armchair by Goodyers
The chair: An Arts & Crafts Glasgow Style oak armchair with ying-yang cut outs attributed to Goodyers "Artistic Furnishing Stores" of Regent St c.1900.

Condition: Offered in good, firm and solid condition with no evidence of any significant damage or repair. Some expansion. Leather upholstery is in very good vintage condition. We can offer to fully restore this item - please contact us for details.
