The chair: An Arts & Crafts Glasgow Style oak armchair with ying-yang cut outs attributed to Goodyers "Artistic Furnishing Stores" of Regent St c.1900.

Condition: Offered in good, firm and solid condition with no evidence of any significant damage or repair. Some expansion. Leather upholstery is in very good vintage condition. We can offer to fully restore this item - please contact us for details.

Dimensions: Seat height approx 14", back height 33.5", width 22.75" and depth approx 24".

The chairs: A pair of bent oak armchairs by Heal's c.1930. No label (see Arts & Crafts Furniture by John Andrews) Pegged joints to the horizontal splats. Original seats.

Arts & Crafts Ash Clissett Armchair
The chair: An ash 'Clissett' rush seated armchair. Designed by Ernest Gimson after Philip Clissett c.1904. Turned & pegged construction with scored lines to indicate the position of the joints. This example was probably made by Edward Gardiner during the 1920's.

We also have a set of six matchng 'Clissett' side chairs available.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition. Frame to be cleaned & waxed prior to delivery.
