The chairs: A pair of Cotswold Style oak lattice back side chairs made by Gordon Russell and retailed by Heal's c.1930. Constructed in solid well figured quarter sawn oak with drop-in rush seats, chamfered front supports and dowelled joints.

The chair: A rare and original example of a Cotswold School oak rush seated chair, designed by E.Gimson - known as design No 5a or the "Russell" chair - and was made by Edward Gardiner at Daneway c.1910. Superbly crafted in quarter sawn oak with pegged joints,

Condition: Offered in excellent original condition with good patina. Re-rushed.

Cotswold School Gimson Rocker
The rocker: A Cotswold School oak rocker after a design by Gimson. The craftsman maker is unknown. This rocker has a slightly taller back, with an additional splat and an attractive arch to the back uprights, compared to the typical Gimson rocker design.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition.

Arts & Crafts Cotswold Style "Brynmawr" Chair
The chair: A very rare Arts & Crafts Cotswold Style side chair by Brynmawr furniture c.1930. Named the "Brynmawr" chair, it was used on an iconic Art Deco publicity poster for Brynmawr Furniture.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition. The frame is firm and solid and the sea grass seat is original and still in excellent order.

Heal's Arts & Crafts Oak Letchworth Chair
The chair: An Arts & Crafts oak "Letchworth" chair designed by Ambrose Heal (after Baillee Scott) c.1905 for the show Cottage at Letchworth Garden City furnished by Heal & Son.

Condition: Offered in very good original condition, cleaned & revived. The rush seat appears original and is a little worn albeit perfectly serviceable with no significant damage.

Arts & Crafts Hampton Court Armchair by Morris & Co
The Chair: An Arts & Crafts Hampton Court oak armchair. Design attributed to Richard Norman Shaw circa 1876. The design was used for the Tabard Inn at Bedford Park and retailed by Morris & Co.

Condition: Restored to showroom condition. Replacement studded leather pad seat.

Dimensions: The seat sits 18" high, the back stands 45.5" tall and the overall width is 25".

The chair: An Arts & Crafts side chair made by William Birch of High Wycombe. The design is attributed to George Walton and the chair would have most probably been retailed through Liberty & Co. The chair is unusual in the fact that it is constructed out of a well figured exotic hardwood (type tbc).

Condition: Offered in very good original condition.

Dimensions: The seat height is 17.75", the chair width (at the front) is 17.75" and the back height is 41".

The Chair: An Arts & Crafts oak childs chair by Heal & Son circa 1920. This is a slightly smaller version nof their Letchworth design. A simple slatted back and rush seat raised on square supports joined by stretchers. Limed oak finish.

Condition: Offered in very good firm and solid condition. Original finish. The seat has been traditionally re-rushed.
