The rocker: A Cotswold School oak rocker after a design by Gimson. The craftsman maker is unknown. This rocker has a slightly taller back, with an additional splat and an attractive arch to the back uprights, compared to the typical Gimson rocker design.

The chair: An Arts & Crafts oak "Letchworth" chair designed by Ambrose Heal (after Baillee Scott) c.1905 for the show Cottage at Letchworth Garden City furnished by Heal & Son.
Condition: Offered in very good original condition, cleaned & revived. The rush seat appears original and is a little worn albeit perfectly serviceable with no significant damage.
