A pair of Heal's Weathered Oak Armchairs
The chairs: A pair of armchairs by Heal's c.1930. Labelled. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak with vintage leather upholstery and gun barrel legs. These are substantial armchairs and a comfortable seat.

Condition: Offered in excellent condition with vintage leather upholstery. These chairs are offered simply cleaned and waxed.

Cotswold School Laurel Wood Occasional Side Table
The table: An Arts & Crafts Cotswold School occasional side table made by Kenneth Desmond Lampard in the mid C20th. Kenneth Desmond Lampard (born 1926) had been a pupil of Edward Barnsley in the late 1940's. The table is beautifully constructed in solid well figured (fiddle-back - which doesn't really show in the images) laurel wood.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Pair of Arts & Crafts Cotswold School Oak Bookcases
The bookcases: A pair of Arts & Crafts Cotswold School oak waterfall bookcases dating circa 1930's. Constructed in solid, well figured quarter sawn oak with exposed dovetails and through tenons. Maker unknown.

Condition: offered in very good condition - original finish cleaned and waxed.

Dimensions: There is a very slight (half an inch) difference in width between the bookcases. The width of one id 28.25" and the other 28.75". Both stand 35" tall and 10.25" deep (at the base). The upper shelves are 6.25" deep and the lower shelf is 8.25" deep.

Arts & Crafts Cotswold School Oak Chest of Drawers
The Chest: An Arts & Crafts Cotswold School oak chest of 4 drawers. Designed by Peter Waals and made by final year handicraft students under the direction of Edward Barnsley in the 1930s for Hazlerigg Hall (now part of Loughborough University). The chest has its original turned and facetted handles and is beautifully constructed with exposed dovetails and through tenons.

Condition: Offered in very good refinished condition. All drawers run remarkably smoothly.

Pair of Gordon Russell Bleached Walnut Chests of Drawers
The chests: A pair of bleached walnut chests of three drawers with contrasting handles by Gordon Russell. Both pieces are labelled. One chest has a tilt mirror attached.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.

Dimensions: Each chest measures 36" wide, 19" deep and 33" tall. The mirror stands 22" tall.

The Cupboard: An Arts & Crafts compact linen press / gents wardrobe by Heal & Son c.1905. Constructed in mahogany with an ebonised finish. The cupboard holds three drawer slides over a single drawer with fine dovetails. The lock is stamped Heal & Son. Original tarnished brassware.
