The chair: A rare and original example of a Cotswold School oak rush seated chair, designed by E.Gimson - known as design No 5a or the "Russell" chair - and was made by Edward Gardiner at Daneway c.1910. Superbly crafted in quarter sawn oak with pegged joints,

The chairs: A Cotswold Style oak lattice back armchair made by Gordon Russell and retailed by Heal's c.1930. Constructed in solid well figured quarter sawn oak with drop-in rush seats, chamfered front supports and dowelled joints.

The Table: An Arts & Crafts Modernist oak extending dining table of generous proportions by Brynmawr Furniture dating circa 1935. Ivorine label to inside leg. The table extends by means of a draw-leaf action.

The table: A substantial Art Deco extending dining table dating c.1930. Designer & maker are unknown but this is a fine quality piece. Constructed using bur walnut with madagascan ebony cross banding. The table extends by means of two draw leaves to achieve a very impressive table.

The cupboard: A substantial limed oak linen press by Heal's c.1930. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak with a press cupboard with 3 internal drawer slides over a chest arrangement of 2 over 3 drawers. Label to drawer. This piece can be separated into 2 for ease of movement.

Condition: Offered in very good clean and original condition with working locks and a key.

American Arts & Crafts Oak Split Pedestal Extending Dining Table
The table: An American Arts & Crafts (Mission) well figured quarter sawn oak split pedestal extending dining table. The table extends to accommodate three additional leaves. Octagonal pedestal with original locking mechanisms. Indistinct label to underside.

Condition: Shown prior to restoration. This table id offered restored and refinished. Please note that the pictures show the table without castors.

Dimensions: The table stands approx 29" high and 45" in diameter. Each of the three leaves is approx 16.5" wide which allows the table to extend to 95" in length.

Art Deco / Modernist Bookcase Cabinet by P.E. Gane
The bookcase: An Art Deco / Modernist walnut bookcase cabinet probably designed by J.P. Hulley for P.E. Gane of Bristol (labelled) c.1935. Marcel Bruer was P.E. Gane's design consultant 1935 -37 and his Modernist / Bauhaus influences are clearly visible here. The bookcase has an asymmetric arrangement of shelves, cabinets and a single drawer. (Note: P.E. Gane made a number of pieces that were retailed by Heal's)

Condition: Offered in very good refinished condition.

Art Deco Burr Maple Triple Wardrobe by Bath Cabinet Makers
The wardrobe: An Art Deco burr maple triple wardrobe with contrasting ebonised plinth, handles and cornice by Bath Cabinet Makers c.1930. Labelled. The wardrobe comprises a single door fitted compartment with shelves, sliding trays, a rack and a door mounted mirror next to a two door double width hanging compartment. This wardrobe does dismantle into four components for ease of movement.

We also have a matching bedhead with bedside cabinets to fit a super king size bed available separately.

Condition: Offered in very good refinished condition.
